Mission & Vision
Our Drama Camp targets underprivileged children and youth in underserved communities, in an effort to expose them to the dynamics of acting and ensemble productions, while teaching that their God given gifts and talents were given for His glory. The project incorporates Christian principles and Bible-based truths along with scholastic standards of learning to produce fun, family oriented productions that do not compromise the integrity of the Christian faith.
Drama Camp
Our Drama Camp is a one-week, four hours a day or a two-week, two hours a day Christian Drama Camp designed to bring the dramatic arts to underprivileged children and youth. We unite Christian theater and education with possibility and opportunity through Christian drama by empowering, educating, and enriching children and youth and challenging them to make a contribution to the dramatic arts thus leaving a legacy. Drama Camp is for children and youth ages 6 to 14.
The main objectives of our Drama Camp are best summed up in these three words:
Invest
To make a conscious decision and effort to invest in this next generation that they may know the right way to go.
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
Involve
To involve the children and youth in Christian drama, especially in the underserved communities where live theater productions are rare or non-existent.
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 19:14
Impart
To impart Bible truths and Christian values that transforms lives.
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;(Psalms 19:7)

Christian Integration
The Christian integration in our Drama Camp curriculum is designed to incorporate Biblical truths that teach godly principles to the participants. Each day, the children and youth will begin and end camp with prayer. The time set aside for daily devotions, which follows morning prayer and worship, is unique in that it introduces an overall moral theme that is reinforced by the accompanying themed stage play.
Providing a safe, Christian learning environment for the children and youth is paramount to the overall success of each participant’s spiritual growth and artistic development. We want to inspire the children and youth to express themselves, without fear of being ridiculed, whether through playacting or sharing their real life situations.

Scholastic Integration
The scholastic influence of our Drama Camp is adapted from the public school learning standards for exploratory dramatics. Although this is not a comprehensive list of what the participants will experience, it does provide an educational guide to what the program supports, especially in our Drama Camps.
- The participants will foster teamwork and dependability through skills learned in individual and pair performances, as well as group productions.
- The participants will work collaboratively to establish valuable teamwork and trust as each sharpens listening skills and accepts others’ choices in scene work.
- The participants will demonstrate key core values of acting such as vocal projection and articulation, movement and gestures and line memorization.
- The participants will experience theater as an ensemble art that develops speech, problem solving, and imagination.
- The participants will develop creativity through participation in theater games, activities, and improvisation.
- The participants will integrate sensory and emotional responses in dramatic play.
